How you will make an impact:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bus Driver to transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and facility activities. The ideal candidate will ensure timely arrivals, assist residents on and off the bus using appropriate equipment, and maintain communication with facility staff throughout transport. Responsibilities include performing routine vehicle checks, fueling, reporting incidents or needed repairs, and maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. The role also involves supporting staff training, participating in community activities, and adhering to HIPAA and safety regulations, including the use of PPE. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform various physical tasks.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
What you will need:
- 3 months of transportation experience strongly preferred.
- Active CPR Certification
- Active Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must be comfortable transferring patients in wheelchairs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
