How you will make an impact:
As the Staff Development Coordinator, you will support the CNA Program Director in the professional development and oversight of nursing staff, including the training, supervision, and testing. Responsibilities include coordinating with state testing agencies, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring ongoing staff education through in-service training and orientation. The role involves monitoring the quality of resident care, ensuring residents' rights are upheld, participating in care planning, and maintaining accurate documentation. Additional duties include promoting interdepartmental collaboration, participating in survey processes, and contributing to policy development. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret technical and legal information relevant to resident care and staff management.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, day time hours.
What you will need:
- Nursing Degree or completion of nursing program is required.
- An active RN license in the state of Indiana is required.
- Long-Term Care experience is required.
